Display board: - Display board is any kind of hard board on which we can hang paper or any other
material for the display of the audience. Another common name of the display board is Notice
Board. The display boards are usually hung at the place of common visit of the intended audience for
pasting the message of public interest.

Types of display boards:

 Folded display boards

 Tablet interactive display board
 Bulletin board

Folded Display Boards: - Folded display boards (FDB) are like a photo frame with multiple photos.
Usually, boards divided into three panels are attached with hinge like concept. The two outside
panels are half the width of the centre panel that can be closed to cover the main panel. FDBs are
placed on a table or similar structure, they are more stable and give a theatre like view. FDBs can
contain text, images, graphics and figures.

Tablet interactive display board: - An interactive display board (IDB) is the display board made by
attaching an electronic multimedia device such as a tablet to a display board. There are different
methods of attaching tablets to display boards. In a conference room, equipment like computers,
projectors, display screens and various cables are used for content sharing, and then Q & A session,
which usually makes the environment quite messy. An IDB can make the content sharing easy and
can turn the Q & A session into fluent and convenient brainstorming.

Bulletin board: - A bulletin board (pinboard, pin board, noticeboard) is the most basic and oldest
form of a surface intended for the posting of public messages. James Pillans, headmaster and
geography teacher at the Old High School in Edinburgh, Scotland, is credited with inventing the first
modern board. It earned popularity very fast and found its utility across the purposes like announce
events, provide information, convey to important message to a group at any place, advertise items
wanted or for sale etc.
