SANITARY CERTIFICATE

There is no objection on Public Health Grounds For The Medical Centre

Hospital M/S KUMARAN MEDICAL CENTRE S.F.NO 499& 500 Sathy Main
Road Ss.kulamKurumbapalayam Coimbatore 641107 COIMBATORE (DT)has been
inspected and the building and premises are found satisfactory on the following
aspects.

 The Buildings and surrounding are maintained neat and clean.


 The Sanitary arrangements provided are adequate and satisfactory.

THIS CERTIFICATE IS ISSUED SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS.

1. Provision for quick and easy emergency evacuation of occupants. All doors and
passages must be wide enough to allow a stretcher trolley or a wheel chair
through them. Ward doors should be 3-4 ft. wide and an operation theatre door
4.8 ft wide.
2. All walls may have a dado upto 4-5 ft height for easy maintenance.
3. Convenient areas for parking stretcher trolleys and wheel chairs must be
incorporated in the building.
4. Circulation areas such as corridors entrance halls and staircases should ideally not
be less than 30% of the total floor area of the building.
5. A ramp for differently able persons has to be provided and the ideal gradient for a
hospital ramps is 1:10.
6. Permission from the State Pollution Control Board to be obtained.
7. Floor space requirements per bed as follows:
In wards bureau of Indian standards.75 sq.ft per bed.
In single bedded rooms: Bureau of Indian standards: 150 sft.
8. Water Supply: 140-180 litres per patient per day.
9. Shall not cause nuisance under Tamilnadu Public Health Act, 1939.
10.Overhead Tank and Sump shall be hermetically sealed or scientifically closed.
11.Premises shall not be a source of Fly/Mosquitoes breeding or Rodents.
12.Drinking water shall be chlorinated and shall have 0.5 ppm of Residual Chlorine.
13.Garbage shall not be permitted to accumulate more than 24 hours.
14.Separate Toilet facilities shall be provided for male and female staff with running
water.
15.A copy of the building plan and this NOC should be kept in the premises and to
be produced to the public health authorities during inspection.
16.NOC from Fire Department is to be obtained.
17.Shall maintain a Register for all Notified infectious Diseases and send a report to
Deputy Director of Health Services, Coimbatore within 24 hours.
18.To deploy only qualified staff from Government approved institutions, for all
categories.
19.Shall engage only qualified professionals registered with TN
medical/nursing/pharmacy councils.

If any of the above conditions, is violated this NOC will be cancelled, without any
further notice. This NOC is valid for one year from the date mentioned.
