met in the final iteration of the system. All diagrams were constructed accurately

depict the inner workings of the system.

A system testing was also conducted in order to identify the components

that were missing and that needed improvement and also to measure the quality

of the web application. The researchers used the alpha and the beta testing.

After all the evaluation results were gathered and analyzed, the

researchers were able to come up with the conclusions and recommendations for

the following objectives.

5.2 Conclusion and Recommendation

Objective 1:

To design and develop a web application with the following technical

features: gather guest feedbacks, generate reports based on the answered

survey questionnaire of the guest, generate reports such as most visited and

high rated places, cities, and municipalities, and the monthly, yearly visitors of

Negros Occidental, serve as a travel guide.

Conclusion:

The Faces of Negros Occidental Web Application was able to manage

and gather guest’s feedbacks. The web application could also generate reports

such as most visited and highly rated places. It could also provide the daily,

monthly, and yearly visitors of Negros Occidental. Moreover, the web application

also met its function to serve as a travel guide.

Recommendation:

Faces of Negros Occidental Web-based Application is designed and

developed mainly to address the problems and the inconvenience of the manual

process of the said office. The researchers recommend that the Faces of Negros

Web-based Application should be implemented and will be use by the Negros

Occidental Tourism Office because it would provide a proficient performance to

staffs and guests.

Objective 2:

To evaluate the acceptability of Faces of Negros Occidental Web-based

Application in terms of ISO/IEC 25010:2011: functionality, reliability, usability,

efficiency, maintainability, portability, compatibility, and security.

Conclusion:

The Faces of Negros Occidental Web-based Application was tested in

order to know the suitability of the web application to the said organization. After

the evaluation response has been analyzed and tabulated, the Faces of Negros

Occidental Web-based Application met the required quality standard with the

result of Excellent. The web application fulfilled and gratify the user because the

system passed the evaluation standards.

Recommendations:

The researchers recommend that the Negros Occidental Tourism Office

should implement the Faces of Negros Occidental Web-based Application

because the system was evaluated by ISO Evaluation Standards.

Objective 3:

Formulate an Implementation Plan.

Process Planning

The persons involved during planning were the researchers. The

researchers make plans for the implementation of Faces of Negros Web

Application. The project was planned step-by-step. The main reason to improve

processes was the effectiveness and improvement achieved with efficiency,

quality, lead time and customer satisfaction.

Requirements Specification

For the implementation, the software and hardware requirements that are

needed are identified. For the system to work efficiently, hardware and software

requirements must be met. All hardware and software requirements are complied

and installed. The said requirements are ready to use by the staffs of the Negros

Tourism Office.

Evaluation

The researchers evaluated 5 IT Professionals, 10 Negros Occidental

Tourism Staffs and 15 possible travelers and guest to the Web Application. The

researchers distributed the evaluation form, noted the suggestions and

recommendations of the respondents for the improvement of the web application.

The responses have been calculated and tabulated and resulted in an excellent.

Installation

Faces of Negros Occidental Web based Application was ready to execute

and used by the Negros Tourism Office staffs. During the installation, the web

application run through many testing and troubleshooting to identify possible

issues.

Training

Negros Occidental Tourism staff needs to familiarize the functions of the

web application and its operation. In this area of concern, the researchers

provided training to the administrator on how to manipulate the system and

guided the staffs on how to access the web application. The staffs needed to

understand the new processes, in order to know how their actions affect the

processes of the web application.

Monitoring and Maintenance

The researchers would monitor the systems functionalities thrice every

month in 1 year, to avoid errors and bugs encountered by the tourism office staffs

after the implementation.

Recommendation:

The implementation plan should be followed in order to implement as soon

as possible the Faces of Negros Occidental Web-based Application.
