Banning Private Cars

There is a dramatic increase in personal cars. Nowadays, it is easier than ever to have a car, but this
has led to various global issues including pollution and safety. For these reasons, I believe that
limiting the number of cars would be benefic for the environment.
For now, gas-powered cars are the most used type of vehicle. With their emissions, they contribute
to pollution and poor air quality, but also to noise pollution, which affects our health.
Banning private cars doesn`t mean banning all types of vehicles. People would still use public
transport, which is safer and cheaper. All over the world, old buses that use gas as a fuel are being
replaced with eco-friendly ones.
On the other hand, I think that there are some disadvantages. One of them could be that many taxi
drivers would lose their job, and it would be harder for people who have mobility issues to travel.
In conclusion, banning personal cars would be a good action for the environment, but people are
not ready for this change.
