Hello Luis, My name it’s Pedro Quezada welcome to the interview for the scholarship abroad,
please, can you introduce yourself in a few sentences?

L: Good afternoon Mr Quezada, My name it’s Luis ( nombre complete), I am 20 years old, from
Perú, recently graduated from high school as the best student of the year and hoping to
further my studies at your university. And I would like to get a scholarship abroad.

P: Well first of all Why do you think you deserve this scholarship?

L: Growing up I learned this doesn’t come easy. There are a few achievements I am proud of,
but what I am most proud of is my progress in school. I have done pretty well in school and am
trying to prepare for life. And I can do all things people want me to do.

P: What do you expect to learn in your chosen program? Which countries have you traveled
to?

L: I have chosen to study industrial engineer but I’m doing to interview to learn about digital
marketing because that’s going to be the future. And I didn’t travel to any country.

P: If you haven’t been abroad yet, where would you travel if you had the chance? and Why?

L: I'm going to Canada because it's the best place to learn about the digital drive I need, to get
small industries out there, and to be someone everyone recognizes.

P: Who would support you financially during your studies?

L: My relatives, they are person that worked hard to get their own company in the country and
they would be sponsoring my education and living expenses throughout my studies

P: Okay, in that case some extra questions I would like to ask you. What is your definition of
failure?

L: I define failure as the situation whereby one doesn't meet up to the expectations of the
school or the educators.

P: How do you deal with deadlines or multiple tasks?

L: I ensure that I have a positive outlook of the task at hand, then draft a plan on how to
execute it and meet its deadline. I understand the importance of deadlines.

P: But what if you couldn't complete the allotted time limit? Would you not present the
works? What would you do?

L: If I can't meet up with the deadline, I will humbly ask for an extension.

P: Okay those are good answers, Where do you see yourself 7 years from now? and Why?

L: In 7 years I see myself as the CEO of a technology company or working for the best
companies in the world as Director of an entire executive staf

P: In that case, Do you have any questions for me?

C: What are my chances of gaining a scholarship?

L: You are one the best students in this university but everything with time, there are many
people that want the scholarship.

L: Only this interview is necessary to obtain a scholarship abroad or I need to send am essay
where I can explain in more detail all the achievements made throughout my short life.

P: This interview is only necessary, if that's all, thank you very much for your participation
and we will inform you by email if you are chosen or not.
