ACTIVITY 4
CHAPTER IV: THE GOOD LIFE

A. Good Life Collage. Cut out pictures in magazines or

newspapers that demonstrate how technology has
made the man’s desire for a happy life more
realizable. You may also opt to print out pictures
from websites and other sources. Explain how
these technological advancements have made the
campaign for the attainment of good life easier or
otherwise.
Technology has made communication less demanding and as
you all know that before in the 80s and 70s you needed to
write a letter with your own and send it to the person through
posting services. But now the things have changed if you need
to talk to a person you normally send them a text or leave a
missed call and these days every person regularly use to make
a communication via text messages and even to use emails to
send long wording letters to their partners and relatives.

B. Compare and Contrast. Identify two modes of

doing the same thing where one involves a more
technologically advanced method. Example would
be snail mail vs. e-mail. List down as many
examples. Is the technologically advanced method
much better than the normal one?

• Telephones VS. A Smartphone

• Kodak Camera VS. A Smartphone
• Typewriters VS. Laptops
• CD’s/Floppy disks VS. Flash drives
• ATMs VS. Digital wallets
• Walkmans VS. Ipods/A Smartphone
Yes because advanced technologically improved our
communication and collaboration and with technology such
as email, instant messaging, video conferencing and social
media, businesses can communicate and collaborate more
easily and effectively than ever before and this can lead to
better decision-making, faster project completion and
improved customer service.
