A lot of celebrities have messages in their songs, for example “Save the rainforest” or “Use less energy”. Then,
after the show, they leave in their big cars or private aeroplanes. But KT Tunstall is different from a lot of
superstars. She’s very green and she has an eco-life. She helps an organization which wants people to use less
energy, turn off lights and computers and walk or cycle to school.
She was born in Scotland and she was a creative child. She joined a local theatre club, learned to dance and play
different musical instruments. Her family loves nature and they often went walking and camping. When she was
seventeen, KT went to the US to study music. When she returned, she played folk music on the streets of
Edinburgh. Her first CD made her famous in all the world.
KT wears eco-fashions and hasn’t got a car, a TV or a big house; she changed her apartment into an eco-home.
