Program Flow/ Emcee Script

I. Registration of the Guest

II. Welcome Address


“No relationship is all sunshine but two people can share one umbrella and survive the storm
together”

Indeed, today we have witnessed two people who never gave up on each other and remained strong
amid the storm. Now, they have chosen to seal their love with the sacred sacrament of marriage.

A pleasant afternoon to everyone! Welcome to the celebration of Lindon and Charlene’s Greatest Day
Ever. This venue is indeed a fitting setting for our newlyweds as we mark the beginning of their life
together. So, sit down, and enjoy the rest of the day.

I am ______, your host for the day. We thank you all for gracing this occasion, especially those who took
a leave of absence from work or school, and those who have traveled miles just to be with us today. In
behalf of Lindon and Charlene, and their proud parents, I would like to express heartfelt gratitude for
your presence today. It is indeed a pleasure to have you all here.

III. Entrance of the Newly Wed Couple

stand, and clap while we are entering.

Music: Shut up and Dance (ingnon ang operator sa sound para ma andam)

Host: Since today is momentous for the couple, it is just right to give them a grand entrance and our
warmest welcome. Let us welcome for the very first time as husband and wife, Lindon and Charlene
Denura! Please give them your heartfelt applause!

(music plays on the background)

IV. Introduction of the Couple’s Parents (Cha-cha music)

Host: Before anything else, we would like to acknowledge the persons who took a great part of this
joyous affair. For without their support, this even would not have been made possible. Ladies and
Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to introduce to you the Parents of the Bride, Mr. Restituto Torrejas
and Mrs. Crisanta Torrejas. And of course, let us get to know the Parents of the Groom. Friends, let us
give a big hand to Mr. Orlando Denura and Mrs. Ma. Meraquel Denura.

V. Introduction of Principal Sponsor (cha-cha music)

VI. Introduction of Family & Friends

Host: For this allow me to give a very special welcome to the families and friends who traveled away
from home to be here. From the Bride’s side, kindly stand, let us give them a warm round of applause.
From the Groom’s Side, kindly stand , let us give them a warm round of applause.

VII. Cake Cutting & Wine Toast


(From this moment music)

Host: In every wedding reception, there is always the cutting of the wedding cake which actually
symbolizes the couple’s shared future and their life as one.

The groom will first feed his bride with cake followed by the bride. It symbolizes the newly wed’s
commitment for each other.

(Remind the sound operator the music to be played. From this Moment)

So may I request the couple to cut the wedding cake and feed one another. Again, friends, the newly
weds, Mr and Mrs. Denura.

Now that the cake has been served, let us call on Mr. _______________ to serve the wine in the
symbolic wine toast and give a short message for the couple.

Let’s us seal it with a sweet kiss. Couple if you could just give our guests a sweet KISS. Thank you. A
round of applause.

VIII. Prayer before Meals led by Mrs. _____________


Host: And to the next part of the program is our meals, Since there are still a lot of exciting activities we
need the energy to carry out all these tasks later.

Let us all stand as we offer thanksgiving to our Lord for the bountiful banquet we are about to share.

May we call on Mrs. ______________ to lead the prayer.

IX. Buffet
Host: To facilitate and observe order during the buffet, we will be starting per table number. While ang

front first for a photo op with the couple. Then other table and so on…

XI. Couple’s First Dance and Money Dance (You’re Still The One and My Valentine)
Host: The next will be the exciting part and it is the First Dance of the Bride and Groom as a couple. This
dance is the couple’s first cooperative engagement and joint endeavor. As the saying goes, “it takes two
tango.” Ladies and Gentleman, it is once again our privilege to present to you Mr. and Mrs. Denura.
