a) HIMATRIX:
HIMatrix non-redundant systems are certified for use up to SIL 3. They are native ethernet
and can be either compact or modular. HIMatrix systems are dedicated for small
applications because they have a limited number of I/Os (but they can have extension
modules).
The HIMatrix system family includes not only a modular controller (F60) but also a
comprehensive range of compact small controllers (like : F10 (obsolete), F20 (obsolete), F30,
F31 (obsolete), F35) and remote I/O modules (like : F1 DI 16 01, F2 DO 16 01..)

Compact PLCs are un-divided solid structures, generally non-expandable with a specific
number of inputs, and outputs.
Modular PLC is a rack-based system with individual Power supply, Processor, Various IO
modules, Extension units, mounted on one or more racks.

b) HIQUAD/ HIQUAD X:
HIQuad X systems are certified for use up to SIL 3, they can have redundant: CPU,
communication and IOs. They are dedicated to small to medium applications.

HIQUAD H41 (the basic)

The H41X system family has a modular structure which includes an H41X base rack and can
be additionally equipped with an extension rack. The H41 PLC can manage up to 208 I/Os.

HIQUAD H51
The H51X system family has a modular structure which includes an H51X base rack and up to
16 extension racks. The H51 controller can manage several thousand.

c) HIMAX:
HIMAX systems are systems with high availability designed for large and mission-critical
applications.
This safety PLC has the particularity of never stopping whatever the modifications requested
during operation: hardware, program or task modifications. There is therefore no longer any
compromise between safety, availability and profitability.

Himax system advantages:

redundant data concentrator on global architectures.

2. Communication protocols
SafeEthernet enables easy and efficient networking of HIMA safety systems in the widest
range of industrial and application fields.
- Certified protocols for use in safety related applications (up to SIL 3)

- Identified by IP address and SRS ID

Note: you can’t upload a program from HIMA system. So

if you lost your program you can’t recover it
3. SILworX
SILworX allows you to program and configure your HIMA safety-related controllers and
diagnose errors in a friendly user interface. For HIMATRIX, HIQUAD and HIMAX.

(Licences of SILworX can be either hardlock or floating)
