MY VISUAL ARTS JOURNAL
LEONARDO DA VINCI
Working on my latest series of drawings has been a
rewarding yet challenging experience. I have been
experimenting with different drawing techniques,
exploring the interplay of light and shadow to create
realistic and emotive portraits. I faced difficulties in
capturing the subtle nuances of facial expressions,
but through practice and observation, I gained a
better understanding of form and anatomy. The
process reminded me of the importance of patience
and persistence in honing my drawing skills and
capturing the essence of my subjects.

The vibrant colors and expressive brushwork
in the artworks ignited my imagination and
sparked ideas for my own paintings. I was
particularly drawn to the artist's use of light
and shadow to create a sense of depth and
atmosphere. This experience reminded me of
the importance of exploring different
painting techniques and pushing the
boundaries of traditional mediums in my
