Virgin Paper vs. Recycled Paper
Virgin Paper vs. Recycled Paper
Virgin fiber paper does not contain any recycled material, it is paper manufactured from new
wood pulp, while recycled fiber paper contains recycled material.
The papers produced with recycled pulp cannot be as sustainable as the ones produced by
using virgin pulp since in the recycling process fibers weaken and shorten.
The production of recycled pulp is harder and relatively more expensive than the production of
virgin pulp.
