Clarification Regarding Coverage in Agriculture Infra Fund (AIF) Scheme

Attention is invited to our Circular No.ADV-101/2020-21 dated 14.08.2020 regarding a

New Loan Product – “IND- KRISHI INFRA FUND” in which detailed guidelines, FAQs,
SOP etc. were incorporated.

Further, Circular No. ADV-137/2020-21 dated 29.09.2020 on Convergence to Ind-Krishi

Infra Fund and circular No. ADV-114/2021-22 dated 15.09.2021, revised Guidelines for
Ind-Krishi Infra Fund as per the directions of Department of Agriculture ,Cooperation &
Farmers welfare (DAC&FW) were issued.

Now, Central Project Management Unit (CPMU), Agri. Infra Fund has informed the

inclusion of projects whose RoI was reduced to 9% or lower subsequently. These

projects were earlier not allowed to be on- boarded in AIF portal.

We hereby clarify that such projects, whose first disbursement has been made on or

after 8th July 2020 can be on boarded on AIF portal for getting the interest subvention
and credit guarantee benefit under the scheme with following terms and conditions;

1. The DPR to be uploaded by the beneficiary on the portal must have the review letter
of the bank with clear mention of the date of review and revised rate of interest.

2. Bank can claim the interest subvention and credit guarantee benefit from the
Ministry only from the date of review of the account.

3. The benefit of the scheme can only be taken for a period of 7 years from the date of
first disbursement irrespective of the date of review.

Field level functionaries are advised to adhere the above guidelines and explore the
possibility for covering the existing sanctioned accounts under this Scheme and pass on
the benefits to the customers.
