It is essential that voters are made aware of the requirements for registration as well as the dates and

location of the registration drive.

Why is Voting an important responsibility?

- We citizen should be engage in our civic duties. Our responsibility as a citizen is voting. The law
does not require citizens to vote, but voting is very important part of any democracy. By voting,
citizens are participating in the democratic process.

The scope is LGU Level (Tagbilaran City)

PROMOTIONAL PLAN

- A number of media channels shall be used to promote and create awareness of the public. This
may involve a combination of paid advertising and free public service announcements.
- These shall include but not limited to the following:
 Newspaper Adverts – These shall include both online and offline newspapers like:
1. Bohol Chronicle
2. Bohol Tribune
3. Bohol Balita Daily News

The Advertisements will be put in front page containing the importance of Voters
Education and that Registration and Voting is vital in performing our civic duties as a
citizen. The campaign will consist of a Photo that says “Your Vote. Our Future: BE
Responsible. BE Registered!” “YOUR VOTE COUNTS “Also the Registration Dates and
Registration Centers Location will be stated also. And the email address of Comelec and
contact number for more inquiries.

 Social Media – These shall encompass

1. Facebook – a page will be created titled “Dapat Tama #2022 Election” this page
contains about election processes and any other information.
2. Twitter
3. WhatsApp
4. YouTube
and other social media outlet messages to be circulated around the people.
The campaign will consist of a Photo that says “Your Vote. Our Future: BE
Responsible. Be Registered!” with the Registration Dates and Registration Centers
Location will be stated also. And the email address of Comelec and contact number
for more inquiries. A slogan also will be written “YOUR VOTE COUNTS “
 A jingle/short song/video will be posted with youth volunteers dancing and
singing the said campaign song.
 The song has this lyric;
“Today is the right time
 That we should contribute to our future
So ready yourself

Give value to your right

And choose a competent leader

Let’s Go! Let’s be registered!

For it is our duty in our society

 TV and Radio – Dedicated programs as well as prepared adverts will be aired in stations like:
1. DYRD – FM (102.3 KISS)
2. DYRD - AM
3. DYTR – AM (1116)
4. DYTR – FM (91.1)
5. And all the other local Boholano TV stations
and which shall be encompassing the Voter Education and Registration Campaign
assigned personnel that will explain the campaigns objective to the public and as well as
justifying it. The said speaker will say you must be registered to vote because your vote
is important. A pre-recorded audio about the campaign will be aired too from time to time.

 Community Heads – the election heads will use local government heads and chiefs in every
Barangay to invite people to meetings where the program will be explained by a dedicated
and trained field officer.
1. Conduct a Seminar – the program will discuss about the importance of Voters
knowledge during election.
After the talk flyers and booklets will be distributed containing the campaigns
objective and the process of voting during election day.

i. NO TO VOTE BUYING
ii. VOTE WISELY
iii. YOUR VOTE COUNTS

 Head of schools can also be instrumental in inviting meetings.

 An LGU mobile will roamed around and circulate within various barangays with pre-
recorded audio about the voter’s registration information and the jingle will be played.
 A Mobile registration centers will be implemented also, it’s important to inform voters of
the dates during which the mobile registration center will be in their vicinity. They will be
scheduled daily in every barangay.
