1. Safety Rules

1. Personnel must have the required qualifications for carrying out any work on the machine.

2. The personnel must act in accordance with the existing safety regulations.

3. Laws, regulations, directives and standards must be obeyed.

4. The user-owner of the machine must meet the necessary obligations to ensure that the machine can be operated
safely.

5. The machine may only be used for the purpose for which it is designed.

6. The machine is safe to operate but please note, however, that it still presents residual risks which must be taken
into account.

7. Bear in mind that energy systems, operating and processing materials, and emissions are potentially hazardous.

8. The safe and technically perfect condition of the machine is essential for the operational safety of the machine and
the safety of personnel.

9. The safety and protective equipment on the machine is designed to protect the personnel and the machine.
Therefore, make sure that these devices always operate properly and are ready for operation: Do not tamper with
the safety and protective devices.

10. Obey the current regulations and instructions to ensure that you act correctly and safely in dangerous situations or
in the event of accidents.

2. Getting Started
2.1 Main Screens
1. Main screen: Displays information about the state
of every compressor connected and virtual buttons
(and the corresponding F1 to F8 physical buttons)
⚠ The Trend option is currently under
development.

2. Menu: From virtual button you can select:


 P100 or “OP”: Operator parameters
 P200 or “Seq”: Sequencer Parameters
 P300 or “Conf”: Compressor Config
 P400 or “Set”: Setpoints
 P600 or “DO”: Digital Outputs overview
 P700 or “DI”: Digital Inputs overview
 P800 or “NET”: IP Config
 P900 or “BUS”: RS485 Bus

3. Sequence view: This screen shows the priority and


the rank of every machine connected to the
system.

4. Counters: Show the percentage of use of any


connected machine as well as their own total
running hours and Kwh consumption.

5. Production information : Screen that shows


information about the overall production and cost:
 Air production
 Efficiency
 Load Rate
 Costs

6. AF menu: On this menu, you can change the


following parameter for every connected machine:
 Serial Number
 Ranking
 Power (kw) for Full load, Half load and Unload
 Air flow production for Full load and Half load
(m³/min)
This screen also shows the Priority and power
efficiency (kw/m³).
A password is required to access this screen.

7. Information : Screen that show comprehensive


information about the system such as:
 System's model
 Serial number of the system
 Software version
 Software Date
 HMI software version
 PLC software version
This screen is accessible by pressing the AF logo at
the upper right of the MAIN screen.

3.3.2 Compressor 1 configuration menu (P301)

This menu is accessible from the configuration compressor menu by pressing the specific "Configuration" button (see figure
13) and is mainly used to modify the AFS regulation parameter (password required for any change).
Without a password, you can only change the name of the compressor.

3.3.2.1 Screen overview

Compressor's name Set Compressor name (no password needed)


AFS Regulation Activate or not AFS Regulation mode
Ranking Set the Rank of the compressor (order of use)
100% - 50% - 0% Set power and air flow for each state of the AFS regulation
Total running Reset running time for specified compressor
Full load Change full load time for specified compressor
Half load Change half load time for specified compressor
Unload Change unload time for specified compressor

On this screen, you can follow the state of every digital outputs and/or test them.
⚠ Digital Outputs can only be tested when the machine is stopped.

C5-Run If the LED is green, Compressor C5 is running

3.7 IP Configuration (P800)

On this screen, you can change the IP address and id /port for each connections or add a new one.
There is the possibility to change manually the port by selecting the "manual" option from the drop down list.
A password is required for any change.

3.8 Bus RS485 (P900)

On this screen, you can create a new RS485 Bus communication and/or configure its address.
A password is required for any change.
