GPS for new 2020 systems

Issue:
Solo engineering has identified an issue with a new batch of 2020 GPS units. Fitting a 2020
unit in addition to Quick shift loadcell and Brake pressure sensor can cause issue due to too
much power consumption.
 2020 unit (affected – continue below)

 2019 unit (not affected – install with normal harness connector)

(not affected)

Fix:
1) Disconnect your GPS for now …
2) Please contact Solo Engineering if this is impacting you. We will provide the required
cables.

3) Some rewiring of the dashboard connector will be necessary:

a) The Grey GPS cable will be removed


b) The GPS saver cables will be connected – refer to the pinout diagram below.

4) Refit the GPS unit connected to the adaptor – it will be positioned in the front of the bike
now.
