Some people think that reading for pleasure increases people’s imagination and language
skills more so than watching TV does. Personally, I totally agree with his view and will
analyse the reasons in the following essay.Reading for enjoyment can help people to
develop their imagination and improve their language skills in many ways. Firstly, while
watching television is said to be more of a passive activity, reading is considered to be an
active form of learning. Reading stimulates people’s brains more as they have to use their
imagination to visualise the characters and plot of the story, and this helps to further
develop their imaginative thinking skills. Secondly, language skills can also be improved
from reading. By reading regularly, people can expand their vocabulary and learn
different grammatical structures and how to use them effectively.In conclusion, I believe
that reading books is an efficient way for people to enhance their imagination and
language skills, while watching TV is simply more of a source of entertainment

Ý nghĩa: Đây là câu ghép mà mệnh đề chính mang nghĩa việc đọc sách sẽ giúp kích thích

up our imagination by diverse sources of information. Having thorough knowledge
of different fields will help us to form the basis to overcome all obstacles and
challenges in the future.
Last but not least, reading books trains us the ability to concentrate the mind on what
we are doing. In our Internet- crazed world, it seems very difficult for us to resist the
attraction of mobile phones or computer. But when you read a book, all of your attention
is focused on the story and we can immerse ourselves into every small details.
 In conclusion, each book brings advantageous benefits to readers and it is advisable
to keep a good habit of reading books regularly.
Books have been the best source of knowledge of human kind for thousands of year, and
there are a lot of things that we can learn from them. All of the universities from all over
the world, even the most famous and modern ones like Cambridge or Harvard still use
books as their main teaching materials. Other electric devices such as computers, laptops,
smartphones or tablets can also be good sources for reading and gaining information;
however, they have many other things that can distract the readers. When we read books,
we do not have to pay attention to the messages or notifications that pop up on the screen
or the interesting games that keep reminding us. Books can increase our ability to focus,
and it helps our brain to do exercises. Researches show that one of the main reasons for
human’s absent mindedness is we do not spend enough time to read. Books really have a
lot of benefits for us if we know how to use them properly. Therefore, we should always
spend a little each day to read different kinds of book.
Hiện nay, nhịp sống hằng ngày của con người được hỗ trợ nhịp nhàng cùng với sự phát
triển của trí tuệ nhân tạo và công nghệ cao. Tuy nhiên, việc đọc sách vẫn được duy trì
như là một thói quen lành mạnh và nó luôn chứng tỏ được những vai trò không thể thiếu
trong cuộc sống hiện đại của chúng ta.
  Điều đầu tiên, sách được coi như là một nguồn giải trí tuyệt vời và ngày nay nhiều
người đến cuốn sách như một cách thư giãn. Đọc sách thường xuyên sẽ giúp cho bộ
não khỏe mạnh, làm thanh thản tâm hồn chúng ta và giải toả tất cả căng thẳng trong
công việc, trong các mối quan hệ cá nhân hoặc các vấn đề khác trong cuộc sống
thường ngày.
Không những vậy, sách hỗ trợ rất nhiều cho chúng ta kĩ năng suy nghĩ và phân tích vấn
đề và phát triển trí tưởng tượng của chúng ta nhờ vào nguồn thông tin đa dạng. Có kiến
thức về lĩnh vực khác nhau sẽ tạo cơ sở giúp chúng ta vượt qua mọi chướng ngại vật và
những thách thức trong tương lai.
Điều cuối cùng nhưng rất quan trọng, đọc sách rèn luyện chúng ta khả năng tập trung tâm
trí vào những gì chúng ta đang làm. Trong một thế giới của Internet, nó dường như như
rất khó khăn cho chúng ta cưỡng lại sự thu hút của điện thoại di động hoặc máy tính.
Nhưng khi chúng ta đọc sách, tất cả sự chú ý của chúng ta tập trung vào việc câu chuyện
và chúng ta có thể nhập tâm vào từng chi tiết nhỏ nhất.
