(一) Packing List

This machine is modified from heart EPSON R1390 printer, please use the EPSON R1390 printer driver and
the compatible consumables, for the detailed specification, please refer to the printer’s instructions.

(三) Preparatory Work Before Starting The Machine

一、Check the parts according to the packing list
After you receive the goods,please open the packing cases, clean up the winding protective-film,check if
there is damage during long distance transport, and whether have ink spillover

二、Suction Ink
 Make the cartridge Please insert each pipeline to
holder and machine on the corresponding ink bottle Make sure the wast ink
the same level, then put according to the label of the pipe is it the waste ink
ink bottle in the cartridge pipeline bottle
holder

Remarks：
If you need to transport the machine,please take out the ink sac ,and lift it
up,then take out the waste ink pipe from the waste ink bottle , use syringe to
suck the ink sac and ink pipe ,make it empty, then make the end of the pipe
bend,in order to avoid the ink spillover and dirty the machine

You must make sure the ink sac and ink pipe empty ,if you don’t suction it
empty, the ink will back flow, the machine will be very dirty in this condition
transport

Take out the waste ink pipe ,don’t put it in the machine, find a bottle which
is corrosion resistant, then put the waste ink pipe in the bottle, the wast ink
will come in to the bottle when you do head cleaning

（四）Preparatory Work Before Printing The Picture

一、Machine Self-Checking
Check if the print tray is located in the rear position of the machine(where there is power jack), turn on the
“Total power switch” and “Printer power switch”, the printer will be in self-checking process, be in self-
checking process, the Printer Power switch light will flash red,print head move right and left ,self-checking be
finished while it is in long red light state, the machine is in normal state
Note: 1、every day, you must make the machine be self-checking before it start working, then it can begin
printing normally
Do self check , the print Turn on the print power
tray must be rear or forward Turn on the total power switch ,the machine will
position (can not blocking switch do self check ， the light
the sensor will flash red

二、Install The Printer Driver

Find the driver for R1390 printer ,install the corresponding program according to the hints, then use USB
to connect computer and printer,the computer will identify the printer automatically, and show “find new
hardware”、The computer will install the printer driver automatically and prompt "new hardware is ready to
use"; at this time, the printer driver is install well ( please check the video for installing the printer driver)
Note: if the printer driver that i give your can’t be installed successfully, you can to download it from epson
website: www.epson.com

三、Move The Print Head（please check the video for adding ink)
1、The print head cartridge will stop at the right side of the printer after it finish self-checking, and
automatically lock,it is unable to move
2、In order to fill ink sac up with ink more easily, we should do like this:
A、If the printer is already turn on,please turn off the power switch firstly
B、Turn on the total power when the print head cartridge don’t move
C、Pull up the total power-line immediately while the print head cartridge move left a little
D、At this time, the print head cartridge is not lock,you can easily move it back and forth
by hand

四、Suction Ink(the following ink sac is black , T-shirt use white sac, just the color is different, the
way of suction ink is the same )

五、Do “Self-Checking” again

六、The Method Of filling ink and print nozzle check
1、Filling ink to print head
1）：there is no ink in the print head when the machine is new,after suction ink to the ink sac, we should do
head
cleaning to full the head up with ink,after that we can print nozzle check and picture properly(after the
machine used a while, if you find the nozzle check is not good,,it meas it is lack for color,at this time please
do head cleaning）

2)：Method of cleaning: click —Set— — —click right mouse button—

—choose ,then it will appears the picture as picture:

Choose“head cleaning ” choose“start/begin ”

When do head cleaning , the
ink will be suctioned to the
Print head automatically,
and please check whether
there is waste ink spill out

When do head cleaning ,the print head

cartridge will move back and forth，it When the cleaning progress bar
need around 2 minute, the computer is full, the cleaning task is finish
will shows the amount of the time too
2、Print Nozzle Check Page：
1):After head cleaning is finished, you should print the nozzle check page to test whether the machine is
good or bad; put 1 piece of A4 paper on the left and front position of the print tray,and adjust the height of
the print tray (make sure the flat surface of the print tray is very nearly to the “limit board”, just can pass it,
don’t let the tray touch the limit board),then push the print tray to the rear position

Note: every time, you must make sure the print tray is located in the rear position before print, the
print tray work from behind, it will stop in the front position after finish printing
Fix \ A4 paper on the print adjust the height of the Push the print tray to the behind
tray, make the surface flat, print tray,just can through position where there is USB
avoid touch the print head the limited board

2): Make sure the USB line and Computer connection is in good condition, the print tray is in the rear
position,then print nozzle check ,as following pictures:

Click “ nozzle check” Click “print”

3): when release print task, the print head cartridge will move left and right ,and spray ink, the print tray will
move forward automatically, when print task is finished, the print tray stop in the front, then please check
the nozzle check picture

It is good , can print picture

(五) Detail Process Of Printing Object

We had offered the AcroRIP software with the machine, it can adjust the print position easily, it also
can adjust the ink amount according customer’s need, everyone can operate it easily,following is the
detail operation progress of the software:

一、Picture Design ：
1、 Choose high precision picture to print,if the picture is fuzzy,low precision,, the print effect will very bad
2、 If you design the picture by yourself. You should save the picture to PNG、TIFF、JPG format
You can design the picture with PS,Corel DRAW，AI and so on

二、Fixed material and choose picture to print

Please note that the following is an example of printing clot
hing. If you need to print food, after installing the edible 
ink, the operation method is the same as the following. Print
 ing materials need to be placed on the platform. In the soft
ware, you can set the size and location you need to print.

1、you had better do color pre-coating before

printing light materials, you must do white
pre-coating before printing dark materials,
Then use the press machine to dry

2、put the T-shirt on the print tray, put back the

fixed set, and adjust the height of the print
tray( just can through the limited board)，then
push the print tray to rear position

三、install the Acorip software(please check the video for installing Acorip software)
四、after finish installing the AcroRIP software，there will appear icon , insert soft dog ，then

click

五、he way of setting the RIP software

color slants deep or shallow, you can set
up in a single color area

Step 3、click the icon in ,appear followings:

“Paper Size”mean the printer size ,

please set as the red circle
“Output Position” refers to the print
position that the material printed on the
platform,you can choose the icon in
toolbar ,you can
also choose the other icon to make sure
the output position
“Output Size”refers to the output frame
size of the photo
“Copies”can be set according to your
needing
Scale ： TUR Ｅ mean you can adjust the
picture by its true scale, the picture is
harmonious, if you choose FALSE, you can
change the width and the height by yourself, but
the picture will broaden and lengthen

Step 4、click the icon in in ,appear followings

“White layer
Generation” 、 “ Black Handing”
and so on , all of them can be
setted according to your needing

white ink that shows black color on

Step5、after all the above operations is finished, click in appear followings

 After the pop-up printing box, if you
print dark material, please set print
number 1 in “White Setting” set print
number 0 in “Color Setting” ,then
click , after finished 1 time

Step6、after white ink task finished, you can print color ink ,as followings

Step 7、after click “print”,the print tray will move for ward automatically, print head will move back and
forth ,the Printer Power switch light will flash, after the print task is finished, the print tray will
come to front place,and the Printer Power Switch light will stop flash

after the print task is finished, the

print tray will come to front
place, take down the T shirt and
dry it, we had finished the T-shirt
printing

(六）Notable Matters and Common Problems

 When using the machine
1、You just can print cotton、blended、polyester materials with textile ink
2、After the machine use a while,you find the picture is not good, please print nozzle check and do
head cleaning

3、Ink bottle must be putted on the “Cartridge Holder”,.too high or low position is not good ,,it will
cause high pressure.the level of the ink must lower than the print head,otherwise the ink will leak out
from the print head
Please check the waste ink bottle at fixed period

4、Special attention matters when printing

A、Make sure the print tray is located in the rear position before printing each time , let the machine be
ready for printing
B、When the Print tray is in using process, do not drag, otherwise, it will can't normally print.
C、The printer finish printing when there is no printing , then you can take out the material
D、Make sure the flat surface of the print tray don’t touch the “Limit board”

5、After release print command,if the machine don’t print correctly, you need to cancel the print task
and release the new print command.

6、Adjust the height of the print tray

Different material has different thickness,we should adjust the height of the print tray by press “up/down
switch”.The best print quality is that the distance between the material and the head is 2mm, must avoid too
high, otherwise it will damage print head ,nor less than 3mm,too low position will affect the image.We had
helped you do the limited board before we send the cargo out. It is the best height to be printed objects from
the nozzle,when the print tray just can pass the limit board

7、You had better add sewing machine oil on the track that the print head move back and forth,in order to
reduce resistance,otherwise it will happen flash red when start the machine ;
What’s more,we should add oil on the track that the print tray go through, if the track resistance is big,the
tray will not move, it will affect the print precision too

8、Because the white ink is easy to precipitate,it is best for customer to shake the white ink for several
minutes before using the machine everyday.If you don’t use the machine for a long time ,please shake the
white ink for several minutes and suction the white ink from the ink sac again(the way please see “Suction
Ink”),the ink that suction out can put back into the bottle and continue use,after suction the ink ,you should
do head cleaning again.
9、Attention of choosing picture
A、No matter the pictures from the Internet or the customer offer, you must determine the clarity of the
picture,poor clarity will cause poor print quality. Generally speaking,we should provide more than
300dpi to get good quality .
B、When we need to print pictures,it is best for us to design the picture the same size as material printed by
PS(or AI), please don’t directly modify the size in the AcroRIP, otherwise the picture will
widen or lengthen, the picture will be disproportionately
C、disproportionately you can study the PS on network

10、Ink reset button：when the machine print several pictures ,the Ink reset light will flash,,it is normal
condition, you just need to do ink reset, after finishing ink reset, the machine will go on
working,following is the way of do ink reset
 ( please check the video for doing ink reset)

when the machine print several pictures ,the Ink

reset light will flash,, it shows that there will be no
ink,need do ink reset（it is no relation with the actual ink
amount, just have relation with chip count capacity,We
can do ink reset when the Ink reset light flash
advanced, also can do it when the light in long red state
Operate method：
press the ink reset button, the ink cartridge will move
back and forth, and will stop at the right place of the
printer, at this time,then press the ink reset button again,
, after this,the printer will do ink reset by itself,after
finishing ink reset, the machine will go on printing again

All types of printer need to do ink reset on the market, it

is not the machine’s problem, please don’t worry

11、SSC Service Utility： when the machine used a period of time ,the Trouble Lamp will flash,and the
computer will show“service request” ，it is normal condition, you just need to
do SSC Service Utility ( please check the video for doing SSC Service Utility)

12、high DPI, print picture is more good

high DPI need increase the ink amount
if customer need the whole picture print white ink uniform, you can set a pure color picture
