• UNWTO defined tourism as a social, cultural, and
economic phenomenon that entails the movement of
people to countries or places outside their usual
environment for personal or business/professional
purposes.
• Countries or Places in the definition of tourism must
have uniqueness/tourist attraction and it called tourist
destination.

become temporary members of the community (Beeton, 2006).
