It is with much regret that I Inform you that due to severe financial losses, we are
constrained to close the business at Unit G-2, One Burgundy Plaza. We are thankful that
some relief was accorded to the business when rent was not escalated in the new term.
However, the exercise was not sufficient to remedy the losses due to high cost and poor
revenue. Please find below Chart of income and expenses from October 2018 to Sept 2019.
We do humbly request your kind consideration to apply 1 1/2 months of the deposit to the
rent for November and half of December, so that we have the chance to earn enough to pay
the 13th month pay of the employees and likewise defray the cost of winding down the
business. We understand that under section 4 of the Tenancy Agreement the “Lessor shall
be entitled to collect the monthly rent up to the expiration of the stipulated term” and
“moreover, the Security Deposit referred in Section 3.6 shall be forfeited in favour of the
Lessor pursuant to Section 5.5” of the Lease Agreement, we appeal to your generosity to
extend JCD BROOD Corporation leniency in exercising your right as the Lessor.

May we also request that we be allowed to complete the Egress during the last 2 weeks in
December. This is the earliest time that the Directors’ in charge will be able to take leave
from their respective jobs to ensure the smooth conduct of the egress.
