Business Overview:
Operations:

The store operates 14 hrs. a day, from Monday to Sunday including holidays. It has 30
employees consisting of two (2) managers, two (2) supervisors, four (4) cashiers, ten (10) Sales
staff, (4) Janitors, four (4) security guards, four (4) civilian guards, with a 9-hrs shift within a day.
The four (4) managers were assigned to support and resolve the problems faced by the
store, by using the technique of planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling. They
were also assigned to evaluate the sales staff performance and for the decision making of the
store. Meanwhile, the four (4) supervisor is assigned to guide the store staff so that the
transaction of each buyer of its product is smooth and orderly. They should also coach and train
the employees here. Hence, the four (4) cashiers are responsible for the safekeeping of the
cash receipt from all consumers and to all types of transaction that acquired. Thus, the ten (10)
sales staff responsibilities are to present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to
existing and prospective customers. They also need to establish, develop, and maintain positive
business and customer relationships. The four (4) janitor’s duties and responsibilities are to
have a general cleaning of a store and keeping it maintained and in good condition. Because
cleanliness affects the entire shopping process. However, the four (4) security guards and four
(4) civilian guards responsibilities are to patrolling and monitoring activities on the store
premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure.
