Billy Bishop City Airport Suspension of PBS Operations

Due to the suspension of commercial activity at Billy Bishop City Center airport, we will be
closing the Domestic pre board checkpoint effective start-up Saturday March 28, 2020. The
overall PBS- pre board screening checkpoints will remain closed until further advised.

The NPS-T checkpoint in the Domestic Bag Hall and the NPS- Vehicle Access checkpoint will
remain active and open 24/7.

Screening Officers are encouraged to check their Web Apps application on a daily basis to stay
current regarding their shift status. Screening Officers will be scheduled to the two active
checkpoints through a fair process that will take into consideration their qualification and
operational requirements.

If Web Apps reflects:

 LOA – DO NOT show up for shift. This day will be processed as a paid LOA.
 Active- check whether you will be working NPS-T /NPS-V and arrive to the correct shift
on time

All aviation security rules and regulations remain in place, and we will be closely monitoring
Need and Right requirements.

The global health crisis has caused significant changes to the normal operations within the
aviation industry, which has resulted in a drastic reduction in passenger volumes across the
country. In partnership with CATSA, we are working to ensure you are all supported, and to
ensure we will all be ready to return to full operations when the time comes.

Your dedication and professionalism have been crucial as we navigate this complex and
changing situation. Your continued support will see us through these challenging times.

Further to the announcements and notices that have been issued, we wish to remind those
staffs who remain working at the airport of the continuing NPS-operation. Please remain vigilant
at all times while operating NPS checkpoints and remember all rules and regulations still apply.
