I AM UNSTOPPABLE: A LITTLE BOOK

ABOUT AMELIA EARHART

MUNCHKIN FUN READERS GUIDE

PLOT SUMMARY
Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly
across the Atlantic- faster than any man
or woman. Every flight she took, someone
said she couldn’t do it. But, she
accomplished her goal. Little Amelia tells
her readers, “one day you will soar. You will
take your dreams so high.”
This interactive book contains bite-sized
historical facts. Little readers can trace
Earhart’s flight path with their fingers. We
also see the traits (like determination) that
allowed Earhart to become unstoppable.
This book is a great way to build knowledge
about heroes and inspire our youngest
readers.

FAMILY QUESTIONS
Amelia broke the speed record at 181
mph. What’s something you can do
really fast?
Point to the illustration in her red
airplane. What do you notice (she’s
upside down in the plane)!
Everybody has skills, or things they
are very good at. Describe two
things you can do well.

CREATIVE WRITING FOR KIDS
Draw Amelia zooming through the sky. Be sure to grab your red
crayon, washable red paint, or a red Do-a-dot to create her red
plane. An adult can label the words: Atlantic Ocean, airplane and
Amelia Earhart.
