CECT Tigersharks aggressively pave their way to victory in the Mobile Legend

Tournament on the third day of Palarong Wesleyan 2023, March 23 held at the WUP
Auditorium.

The cheers of all the players, along with their friends and CECT family, shook the ground of the
auditorium as the Tigersharks emerged to the throne and hailed as the Champion of the ML
tournament war against the CONAMS Lions.

The reigning MVP, Keith Zachary Aquino said that him being a gold laner was the most
challenging part of the game, “ako po yung kadalasan nilang hinahanap sa clutch po kapag ka
ano po, yung ako po kasi yung nagbibigay ng damage dealer sa’min” 

It was hard to speculate the outcome of the game due to all the players of each department’s
perseverance and grit in the bloody battle. Despite the game being delayed due to Mobile
Legend’s system update and having trouble in the internet connection, it started smooth with the
CONAMS Lions roaring with pride as they won the first game in a tight battle against CCJE Red
Stallions, CBA Dragons soaring high as they dominated the second game against CHTM
Phoenix, CAS’ Eagles hunting CoEd Dauntless Wolves with an epic comeback in the third game
to CECT Tigershark’s triumph against CONAMS Lions in the fourth game.

The war amongst the empires began to heat as the elimination round started with CHTM Phoenix
crushing the hope of Coed Dauntless Wolves in the fifth battle, CBA Dragons slaying the CAS
Eagles in a killing spree by the sixth match, CONAMS Lions stealing the seventh game against
CHTM Phoenix, CAS Eagles striving to survive by defeating CCJE Red Stallions in the eight
game only to meet their end in the ninth game by the claws of CONAMS Lions. The intensity
can be felt in and outside of the auditorium as the CECT Tigersharks aggressively dominate the
tenth game against CBA Dragons, leading to CBA Dragon’s demise in a bloody war against
CONAM’S Lions who snatched the sit for the final battle of the tournament.

As the final round arises, CECT Tigersharks started their play with a heavy attack in a firm battle
against the CONAMS Lions and ended the game with a score of 2:0.

Aquino stated that their strategy in winning the game was due to his harmonious understanding
among his teammates, “Kunyari po sa chat call po, nagkakasundo-sundo po kami.” “Grind lang
po sa gabi at saka tamang pahinga lang po,” he also added when asked about their training for
this specific event.

The Mobile Legend tournament ended with a bang as the CECT Tigersharks reign the victory
but there are still those who questions as to why the Esports such as ML and Valorant are part of
the intrams when it somehow promotes laziness compare to the outdoor games such as basketball
and causes unhealthy game addiction, “May mga pro-players po tayo sa Pilipinas sa ML kaya
okay lang pong kasama siya sa palaro,” the MVP- Keith Zachary Aquino, answered.
