Summary
Vestibular rehabilitation is
a specialized form of physical
therapy used to treat vestibular disorders or symptoms,
characterized by dizziness, vertigo, and trouble with
balance, posture, and vision. VRT exercises train the
body to use other senses, like touch and vision, to
overcome symptoms.
There are 5 type of vestibular rehabilitation
certificate's you can obtain (vestibular rehab,
vestibular rehab concussion, vestibular rehab II,
& vestibular assessment and management,
vestibular assessment VNG, rotary chair, vHIT, &
VEMP protocol practice.
Price ranges from $560- $1,600 depending on
the certification you wish to aquire.
Requirements
Complete 12-37 hours or course work.
You will need to re-certify every 3 years by re-
taking the course and pay as the first time.
One can also purchase a renewal exam
package that comes with 5-10 research articles
and an exam that must be completed within a
certain time frame. Re-certification cost can
vary depending on which certification you
already have. Can go from $195-245
