First and foremost, we would like to thank Allah S.W.T and Prophet Muhammad
S.A.W for giving us the strength and blessing throughout our group assignment successfully.
We would also like to express our gratitude and appreciation to our MGT162 lecturer,
Madam Rozieana Binti A Halid @ Khalid, group assignment’s partners and also to those who
helped us. We also sincerely thanks for the time spent correcting our mistakes. Without their
help, we wouldn’t be able to finish our group assignment.

Thank you to the staffs of Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) for providing us
the necessaries and facilities like internet connection, computer and books to make it easier
for us to do our researches.

Last and not the least, we would like to admit our sincerely thankfulness to University
Technology Mara (UiTM) campus Raub, Pahang for giving us the opportunity to learn and
guidance in order for us to complete our project.
1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Company Background

WIPRO UNZA (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is a manufacture company and marketers of


personal care products that located in Subang Jaya and Kajang. The group in Subang Jaya
is the largest complex in Malaysia because it occupies a land of some 36,610 m² than the
complex at Kajang. It located at 7 Persiaran Subang Permai, Taman Perindustrian
Subang, 47610 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This organization started operates since
1940s where they started it by creating incorporation of WIPRO and in 1980s, they made
incorporation of UNZA. Lastly, this organization successfully named as WIPRO UNZA
in 2011. WIPRO UNZA is a company that focuses on cosmetics, toiletries and fragrances.
This company has a portfolio of 24 brands with 6 identified focus brands and since 1980s
this company has successfully built a portfolio of brands for personal care and household
products markets of Asia. There are some leading brands in WIPRO UNZA like AIKEN,
ENCHANTEUR and SUMBER AYU in the personal care products market and VIGOR
and MAXKLEEN in the household products market. This company serves more than
258,000 retail outlets across Southeast Asia and Greater China. This company distributes
their products to retailers like pharmacists, mini markets and general supply stores.

There are two types of decision making which are program decision and non-program
decision.
Programmed decisions:
 WIPRO UNZA is committed to provide its employee and premises a safety needs and
secure work environment where no one is subject to unnecessary risk.
 WIPRO UNZA is committed to provide a fun and healthy working environment for
its employees in boosting their enthusiasm level and healthy lifestyle.
 WIPRO UNZA group’s Code of Business Conduct is the cornerstone of its
commitment to integrity. They need to comply with all applicable legal requirements
and ethical standards while operating.

Non-programmed decisions:
 WIPRO UNZA helps disaster rehabilitation like flood victims and landslide victims
by providing them assistance needs and volunteer supports.
 WIPRO UNZA would invest heavily to maintain their product quality and strengthen
their position
 WIPRO UNZA had to incorporate new protocols while COVID-19 happened. It was
skeletal staff are approved to come.
 WIPRO UNZA has donated 50,000 bottles of SAFI Antibacterial Shower to
Malaysia’s frontline workers in hospital and police department. WIPRO UNZA also
contributed RM1.5 million worth of sanitizing products to National Disaster
Management Agency for the COVID-19 funds during pandemic.
