WHY STUDENTS DROP OUT OF COLLEGE

In today's world, higher education has become more important than ever
before. People see a college degree as the key to a successful career and a
better life. However, despite the benefits of higher education, many people
choose to drop out of college before completing their degree. There are many
reasons for dropping out of college such as economic difficulties, academic
challenges, social and personal factors.
One of the primary reasons why students drop out of college is financial
difficulties. Many students struggle with paying for tuition, books, and other
expenses associated with college. Without financial assistance or support from
family, these expenditures can swiftly become overwhelming and force
students to drop out.
Academic challenges are also a common cause of college dropout. Some
students may have difficulties in doing coursework, particularly in subjects that
they find difficult. For some, this may result in low grades, which can lead to
academic dismissal from school. In other cases, students may feel bothered by
the demands of college and the pressure to succeed in something, which can
result in anxiety or depression.
Finally, social and personal factors can also bring about college dropout.

they are moving away from home for the first time. Homesickness, feelings of
loneliness, and having difficulty in making friends can all play role in a sense of
discontent with college life. Additionally, personal factors such as family and
