ANNEX 1 – AWARD PROCESS

The award decision on this procedure will be based on two different steps, as
described below.

Step 1: ELIGIBLE CONTRACTOR

Submitting Proposal is open on equal terms to any legal company matching the
following pre-qualification requirement:

 Being legally registered in Yemen;


 Being certified for the provision of the items subject of the Bid;
 Your company must commit to respect the technical specification of the
selected items;
 Previous experience with INGOs/UN Agencies – evidenced by relevant
document(s);
 Your company must commit to respecting the warranty period given for each
item, with a minimum of 12 months from the date of installation and
commissioning;
 Your company must commit to respecting the prices for 12 months following
the awarding notice;
 Items provided by your company must be compliant with CE marked or FDA
Certificate;

Responses that are correctly completed and do not fall in one of the above-mentioned
exclusion criteria will proceed to Step 2.

Any response not correctly completed, or presenting omissions may be rejected at


this stage. Whether a response is rejected at Step 1, it will be automatically
disqualified and will not be further evaluated.
Step 2: EVALUATION CRITERIA

If a bidder succeeds in achieving Step 1 of the evaluation, then it will be evaluated,


according to the following criteria and weights:
