CLASS ANGIOSPERMAE

The clade Angiospermae, or angiosperms, is made up of flowering plants that also

produce fruit and flowers.

There are three parts to the basic angiosperm body: leaves, stems, and roots. The
vegetative (non-reproductive) plant body is made up of these primary organs. The shoot is
made up of the stem and the leaves that are attached to it. The root system of a plant is made
up of its individual roots, and the shoot system is made up of its shoots.
