SWORN STATEMENT OF THE COMPLAINANT

SWORN STATEMENT and ANDY SOAMES, taken by PMSg Alexander Terado here at Police Station 2,
corner Osmena Blvd. and R. Landon St. Barangay Sambag 1, Cebu City at about 09: 00 A.M. of March 1,
2022, through QUESTION AND ANSWER, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with the law do
hereby depose and say.

Q: Will you state your name and other personal circumstances?
A: I’am ANDY SOAMES (09198489061), Australian National, male, 73 years old, single, DOB: June 13,
1948, POB: Syria, temporarily staying at West Point Hotel, 297 Don Gil Garcia St. Brgy. Capitol Site, Cebu
City.

Q: Mr. Andy Soames, do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth in this investigation?
A: Yes sir.

Q: Are you here to give your statement in your own free will?
A: Yes sir.

Q: Will you please tell me why you are here in our office and what is your purpose in giving this
statement of yours?
A: I’am here to file a criminal complaint for violation of Threat against the suspect named Claribelle Jane
A. Alfeche, Filipino, female, legal age, a resident of Denver St. Royale Cebu States, Consolacion, Cebu.

Q: When and where did this happen, if you can recall?

A: I t happened on or about 10:30 AM of February 3, 2020 at Park Lane Hotel, Archbishop Reyes, Ave.,
Brgy. Kamputhaw, Cebu City, Philippines.

Q: Can you narrate what happened on the above stated place, time, and date?
A: I was there at Cebu Park lane International Hotel to meet Claribelle (suspect) chief executive officer of
Ocean Edge Resort purposely to get my profit as an investor of the resort. I invested money amounting
to 1,500,000.00 USD for the promised profit of approximately 500,000.00 USD. I already done this many
times by sending them demand letters by my lawyer but they did not given me the expected profit. Until
this time when I personally requested the suspect to give my money back she threatened me instead by
saying that if I demand again I will in serious trouble while pointing her finger to me angrily and repeat it
three times. Suspect, says further to me that she knows two people who do bad works that work for
Korea to kill Koreans in the Philippines.
