Subject: Request for Temporary Absence from Classes

Sir,

I am writing to inform you about a medical condition that I am currently experiencing, which
necessitates my temporary absence from classes. I apologise for any inconvenience this may
cause.I regret to inform you that I am suffering from severe and acute back pain, which has been
diagnosed by the doctor. The pain has progressively worsened over the past few days, making it
extremely difficult for me to attend classes and concentrate on my studies effectively.My doctor has
advised me to take immediate rest for 3 weeks and undergo a treatment plan to recover fully.

I kindly request your understanding and support me during this challenging time. Thank you for
your attention and understanding. I remain hopeful for a swift recovery so that I can rejoin the
classroom discussions and contribute actively to the academic environment once again. I sincerely
appreciate your support and cooperation.
