“Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel
is a caress. Water is not a solid wall; it will not stop you. But water always goes
where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient.
Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child! Remember that you
are half water. If you can't go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does.”

Rapping is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street
vernacular", which is performed or chanted in a variety of ways, usually over a backing beat or
musical accompaniment. The components of rap include "content" (what is being said), "flow"
(rhythm, rhyme), and "delivery" (cadence, tone). Rap differs from spoken-word poetry in that rap
is usually performed in time to an instrumental track. Today, the term rap is so closely associated
with hip-hop music that many writers use the terms interchangeably.
