CHAPTER 3

RESEARCH DESIGN/STRUCTURE
In this study the researchers used qualitative research design to analyze information about
real-world situations. Qualitative research is used to capture eloquent information regarding
ideas, values, beliefs, and motivations that underpin behaviors that is not expressed in
quantitative research. As for that the qualitative research design is very suitable in this study
since this research is about the personal learning preference of the respondents.
This research aims to discern the experiences and to get knowledge from the respondents.
To get an insight of their learning habits and routines. To perceive the relationship of the gender
and age in students learning preference, the study will differentiates the relation between the age
and gender of respondents to their individual learning styles.
For this study the researcher used method interview, The interview intent to recognize
working students favored learning habits that they used daily and/or when they study for the test.
The study would be conducted among the students that are currently employed in every
section of grade 11 STEM.
