Hikkaduwa
Hikkaduwa is a beach front town in Galle region of Sri Lanka. Hikkaduwa is a significant vacation spot in
Sri Lanka and is known for its sea shores and corals. It is situated in the Southern Territory, around 17 km
(11 mi) north-west of Galle and 98 km (61 mi) south of Colombo. In spite of critical improvement
somewhat recently it is as yet home to the imperiled and endemic purple-confronted langur, a typically
timid monkey species that must be found in Sri Lanka's timberlands. It is separated into three principal
regions that are (from north to south): the Sri Lankan town, the vacationer region, and afterward
Thiranagama.
