⮚ Introduce Yourself: Good Morning (according to the timings) I am Varun Kumar, from
the Division of Student Relationship, Lovely Professional University (or School name, if it
is same as the student’s school). This is a very important call related to the your ward
Rabinder Ghosh (Student Name) who is pursuing B.Sc (hons) Agriculture from the LPU. Is
it good time to speak to you? (If response is Yes, then continue, Else ask for the suitable
time for call back and then call back again as per the requested time).
● Share Student Performance: His current CGPA is 8, which is good. Start is good, and to
maintain this good performance, student should remain focussed and away from
distractions. Also his attendance in the current term is 90% which is again good. In the
current session, he was in Hostel but I have observed that for the next session, he has
not opted for Hostel facility till date. I am afraid it will impact his academic performance.
Let me tell you, historically students who have secured good placement packages, 90%
of them were hostlers.
● It is important for him because in Hostels, we take care that
o whether you are attending classes or lying in the room (no one at PG will do this)
o When you are coming or leaving? (at home also parents do this)
o With whom you are roaming?
o Not indulging into any immoral activity or alcoholism etc. Outside you don’t
have any control.
o What you are carrying when entering room? (No one at PG will care about this)
o We conduct many placement activities after class hours which only students
staying in the campus find convenient to attend
o Post class hours, interaction with industry experts, Project works

● My strong recommendation is that your ward should remain in Hostel.

o Difference is only 1000-1500 per month

o More than this you may have to spend on transport
o Wastage of time in travelling

next session, he has not opted for Hostel facility till date. I am afraid it will further
worsen his academic performance. Looking at his performance, I strongly recommend
that he should remain in hostel only.

fail grades) Since the start is not that good, he needs to focus more on academics so that
he can have a good career ahead. And to do this, he need to plan time properly and
should remain away from distractions. In the current session, he was in Hostel but I have
observed that for the next session, he has not opted for Hostel facility till date. I am
afraid it will further worsen his academic performance. Looking at his performance, I
strongly recommend that he should remain in hostel only.

the class hours, Hostlers can join them but those who stay outside, they will miss
these classes.

 Part Payment Option

Only when parents/students expresses inability to pay fee in lumpsum, we can permit part payment
option as per the following break up:

● Initial payment for booking: Rs 5000 (last date 30th April)

● 60% payment before the start of the classes (i.e. 20th July)

● Remaining in 1 or 2 parts before 30 th November
