Letter of motivation

My name is Monica Balanescu and I am pleased to write to you to apply for the Erasmus programme
for the 2022 academic term. I am the second year student in Colege “Stefan Neaga”. I would very much
appreciate being able to spend a semester at one of the universities included in the Erasmus
programme.

From an early age I loved music very much, I participated in many concerts, music salons, contests and
festivals. This semester I want to improve my written and spoken English , expending opening up new
horizons in my professional career. The experience I could gain during the next semester with an
Erasmus scholarship would be a valuable tool for the future, because I am interested in studying and
delving in depth into different musical interpretations and new knowledge in the field of music, which in
the future will be very useful for my professional future. I think that my application for the Erasmus
programme is fully integrated in my professional plan and academic background.

Finally, I believe that living abroad is a crucial step in the study of a language and also it brings
knowledge in various academic disciplines, but it also speeds up the necessary need to become
independent in daily life.
