SPECIAL TRAVEL NOTICE
All passengers travelling to/ from foreign destinations with Tropic Air are solely responsible for understanding and/or
having the necessary documentation required for entry into that country. Tropic Air will not check for medical certificates,
visas, or be held responsible (financially or otherwise) for denied entries. Tropic Air will also not be responsible for any
passenger fees for medical tests required for entry into the country, or for any charges resulting from quarantine stays
and itinerary changes. Please check with the relevant Government agencies, embassies or your travel agent for specific

CHECKING IN & CONNECTING FLIGHT POLICIES
Local (Domestic) Flights. You are required to check­in at our ticket counter at least 20 minutes prior to scheduled
domestic departure. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your seat and/or ticket.

 
Connecting TO Another Carrier's Int'l Flight? When booking a flight to Belize International Airport (BZE) in order to
connect with an international flight, we ask that your domestic portion take into consideration a departure time that
allows for a minimum connecting time of at least three (3) hours. This is to ensure that you meet the check­in window
requirements of carriers such as American, Delta, Southwest, COPA, United and WestJet, as well as provide enough
time for security screening for your final destination. If you are travelling on a Saturday, we suggest that additional time
be allowed due to congestion at the Belize International Airport.

 
Connecting FROM Another Carrier's Int'l Flight? When booking a domestic flight from Belize International Airport
(BZE) that is connecting from an international flight, we suggest that your domestic portion with us be booked with a
minimum (1) hour connection time. This is to allow for customs and immigration transit times.

 
Missed Connection: If your final destination is within Belize and your international fight arrival is delayed, Tropic Air will
automatically rebook you on the next available flight with open seats. Please note that in some rare circumstances, this
may be a flight on the following day.

 
Tropic Air Int'l Flights ­ Checking In: You are required to check­in at our ticket counter in the Belize International Airport,
at least two (2) hours prior to your departure time for your international flight with Tropic Air. Failure to do so may result in
the loss of your seat and/or ticket.

   

CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & TICKET CHANGE POLICY
Cancellations, changes and/or refunds depend on the class of ticket purchased. Please follow the fare rules printed on
your ticket.  

Cancellation of any part of your itinerary must be made at least twenty­four (24) hours in advance of the scheduled flight
in order to qualify for a refund. Refunds will depend on the ticket class purchased, date of travel, and issuing agent.
Tickets purchased through an OTA (like Expedia) or via a travel agent / resort must be cancelled or refunded through
those issuing entities. For all other tickets please email reservations@tropicair.com to cancel or to request a refund.

Changes to any part of your itinerary must be requested at least twenty­four (24) hours in advance for international or
two (2) hours in advance for domestic scheduled flights.

our stations. 

BAGGAGE POLICY 
Local (Domestic) Flights
Checked baggage limits depend on fare class purchased.

FlexiPlus: Tropic Air permits each passenger travelling on our domestic flights in this fare class (R), one (1) carry­on and
three (3) checked bag. Due to space constraints, any other bags may be carried on a space available basis and you
may be charged a fee (see below for details). 

Flexi:Tropic Air permits each passenger travelling on our domestic flights in this fare class (H), one (1) carry­on and two
(2) checked bag. Due to space constraints, any other bags may be carried on a space available basis and you may be
charged a fee (see below for details). 

Everyday, Getaway & Flash:Tropic permits each passenger travelling domestically in Belize in these fare classes (Y),
one (1) carry­on and one (1) checked bag. 

Carry­on 
We allow one small carry on per passenger. Examples of allowable carry­ons are personal bags such as a purse or a
small backpack. Maximum weight of these items cannot exceed 15lbs (6.8kgs), and due to limited cabin space, all carry­
ons must fit in your lap. 
 
If your carry­on is larger than the above requirements, your carry­on must be checkedin.

Checked Baggage 
Checked bags shall have a total dimensional size limit of 62 linear inches (157cm) with the width limited to 30 inches
(76cm) and the height to 15 inches (38cm).

Excess Baggage 
Excess bags may be placed on a space available status or transported separately as cargo and may be subject to
additional fees.

Oversized Baggage 
Due to cargo hold limitations, most bags that exceed 62 linear inches (157cm) in total dimensions may not be able to be
transported at all. Tropic Air will not be responsible for these bags getting to your final destination.

Tropic Air International Flights

size limit of 62 linear inches (157cm) with the width limited to 30 inches (76cm) and the height to 15 inches (38cm). 
 
Additional bags are USD$35 each, should not exceed 50lbs (22.6kg), and may be carried on a space available basis. 
 
Baggage exceeding 50lbs (22.6kg) shall be considered overweight and be charged an additional USD$35 per bag.
This overweight fee is in addition to any additional bag fees that may apply.

Please note that while Tropic Air will endeavor to move all bags for our passengers, due to cargo hold limitations, most
bags that exceed 62 linear inches (157cm) in total dimensions may not be able to be transported at all. Tropic Air will not
be responsible for these bags getting to your final destination.
