Introduce Course
General information of the course

Credit value: 03 credits

- 1 theoretical credit (LT): including 15 standard lecture periods, taught directly in class or through MS Team,
and 15 hours of self-study with guidance
- 1 practice credit (TH): including 60 standard practice periods and 45 hours of guided self-study.
Description of general content of the course:

◦ Fundamentals of Drawing (I) is a compulsory subject for first-year students of graphic design, which forms
the foundation for all subjects related to the visual arts. It is divided into 3 chapters including drawing and
analyzing basic blocks, developing forms; drawing and analyzing still life samples.

◦ Throughout the course, besides drawing exercises in class, students have to practice drawing still-life
sketches.

- To apply the understanding of the basic forms in independent
project/painting of inanimate objects.
- To apply techniques using lines and tonal values; proportion,
massing, etc.

RULE OF CLASS

- Be on time. Don't be late and leave early.


- Do not talk on the phone in class. No chatting.
- Leaving school must ask permission from the lecture. If you
miss more than 2 sessions, you will be banned from taking
the exam.
- Do homeworks
- Prepare lessons, art supplies before going to class.
