Where is the cat?

Usamos there is (que puede ser abreviado there’s) o there

are para decir que “hay” algo. There is lo usamos cuando es
para una sola cosa y there are para cuando es más de una.
De la misma forma usamos there isn’t y there aren’t para
decir que “no hay”.

Examples:

There is a school in Barra del Chuy. There are many students at CEA – Barra del Chuy.
There isn’t a bus station in Barra del Chuy.
