I would like to express my deepest thanks and appreciation to my

supervisors, Dr. Saad S. Tawfiq and Dr. Sami A. Ajeel and to the head of
chemical engineering department Dr. Nahidh for their invaluable
suggestions and advice throughout the period of this research.
Deep thanks are also due to Mr. Ausama, Mr. Dhiaa, Auruba and
Hayfaa at the instrumentation department and to Mr. Abd- AL Sattar
Jabir at the mechanical department of Al-Daura power plant for providing
