here present on behalf of my delegation of Spain

1. Position: ¿What is your country’s position about poverty in the East of Africa? Which
country needs more attention and help? (Tanzania, Kenia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Somalia,
South Sudan)

Example: Poverty, in its most extreme form, is destitution. It is trying to survive without

the essentials for life, such as food, water, or shelter. For the sub-Saharan region of

Africa, this is a reality for almost half of the population. Without the most basic needs at

their disposal, children on the African continent cannot imagine a life without poverty, and

the vicious cycle continues. Your sponsorship or donation creates a lasting change in the

lives of the children and youth living in these communities by providing them with access to

food and medicine, as well as medical and dental care, educational programs, sanitation

services and more.

2. Relation: Explain with Arguments why we should discuss about the situation in the east of
Africa and your selected country.
Example: FROM OUR COUNTRY WE ARE VERY CONCERNED THAT IN Uganda, more than a third of the

population lives below the poverty line. ... It is called absolute poverty and estimates

that the average consumption necessary to sustain a human body is between 2,000 and 2,500

calories AND MANY OF THEM ONLY EAT 500 CALORIES OR SOME DO NOT EAT

Proposal: FROM SPAIN IT SEEMS THAT WE HAVE TO HELP UGANDA AND EAST AFRICA, WE WANT TO TALK

WITH EUROPEAN COUNTRIES SO THAT WE CAN COME TO AGREEMENTS TO HELP UGANDA AND EAST AFRICA,

HELPING THEM WITH FOOD, EDUCATION, AND ECONOMISING US. IT IS MACHINERY TO BUILD SCHOOLS,

HOUSES, BUILDINGS ETC, WE ALSO WANT TO SEND TO THE CHILDREN TOYS SO THAT THEY ARE NOT SO SAD

AND LASTLY BUT NO LESS IMPORTANT THE FOOD WHICH IS THE MOST MISSING AFRICANS AND TO UGANDA

THEY CAN'T EAT ANYTHING AND IF THEY EAT SOMETHING, THEY ARE RAW ANIMAL INSECTS AND FROM

SPAIN WE SEEM VERY CONCERNED BECAUSE FROM SPAIN WE SEEM THAT EVERYONE DESERVES A WORTHY

FOOD, I HOPE THAT ALL THE COUNTRIES WILL HELP EAST AFRICA BUT ESPECIALLY THAT THEY ARE TO
