1. Choose one of your favorite praising song with explanation.

Explained why
you choose that song and how that song affects you?

The song entitled “Amazing Grace” is one of my favorite praising song.

There were moments in our life when we felt like we are the happiest person alive but
there were also moments when we felt like we are the wretchedest human being.

I listened to the song Amazing Grace , when I am sad and when I'm happy. The song
made me realize many things in life. The song is too powerful, that it help shaped
myself to become a better person. A person who put God in the center of everything.
The song had such a beautiful message that however big our mistakes, God is
always there to forgive us. However, big our problems in life, God is always there to
lend a helping hand. However, deep our pain and sufferings, He is always there to
comfort us and wipe our tears away. All of my doubts and fears are gone, once my
ears hears the song, then my mind listened to it and my heart graciously felt every
single words. The song Amazing Grace, inspires me deeply.

I once was lost but now I'm graciously found. I was once blind by His words, but now
I clearly can see. He truly saved a wretched like me. With Christ in my vessel I can
smile at the storm.

“Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound”.

2. Find a peace quote from each religion and explain how that quote can be
used in the personal lives of the people practicing that religion.

Islam

“Do not let your hatred of people incite you to aggression”. - Qur’an 5:3

The word Islam means peace and submission. Muslims greet each other by saying
“Salaam alaykum” meaning 'peace be upon you'. Like the majority of followers of
other faiths, the majority of Muslims believe in seeking a just and peaceful world. The
Qur'an teaches that Allah wants Muslims to control their aggression and approach
others with peace. In the Hadith the Prophet Muhammad teaches that maintaining
peace and good relations is very important and that Muslims should not get carried
away with feelings of hatred towards others. “Do you know what is better than charity
and fasting and prayer? It is keeping peace and good relations between people, as
quarrels and bad feelings destroy mankind.”- Hadith
Roman Catholic

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God” (Mt 5:8).

Catholics and Mennonites share a common commitment to peacemaking. That

commitment is rooted in communion with “the God of Peace” (Rom 15:33) and in the
church’s response to Jesus’ proclamation of “the gospel of peace”. Christ has
entrusted the ministry of reconciliation. They are called to be reconciled to God and to
one another. Moved by the Spirit, to share with brothers and sisters in faith, and with
a wider world, the call to be instruments of God’s peace. A children of God is one
who follows the divine law and acted upon His words. Peacemakers can attain
eternal life. Living his life without anger, hatred, grief and vengeance is the true
definition of peace, to the personal lives of Roman Catholic people. Thus, Pope John
Paul II has written, “The goal of peace, so desired by everyone, will certainly be
achieved through the putting into effect of social and international justice, but also
through the practice of virtues which favour togetherness, and which teach us to live
in unity.”

Buddhism

“Those who are free of resentful thoughts surely find peace.”

“ We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves”
-Buddha

The Buddha taught that peaceful minds lead to peaceful speech and peaceful
actions. If the minds of living beings are at peace, the world will be at peace.
Buddhism envisions peace as inner state of mental tranquility which spreads
outward. Attaining a state of inner peace could be an inspiration to all. Buddha
attained inner peace by the practice of meditation, which inspired him to work for
world peace. In most of his teachings, Buddha has emphasized that the practice of
vipassanā uproots mental defilement's, which are, according to him, the causes of
suffering and restlessness. Once a person overcomes suffering, he realizes inner
peace. Inner peace projects itself outward, towards the family, friends and the larger
society. This ensures peace and harmony in the outer world. Thus, world peace can
be achieved through inner peace.

Seventh day Adventist

Philippians 4:7: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Deepen the intimacy of your relationship with God. The greater the intimacy, the
greater the peace. The more consistent the intimacy, the more consistent the peace.
And the longer lasting the intimacy, the longer lasting the peace.
The peace that passes understanding is a state of contentment that flows from
knowing all is well even when we don’t necessarily feel that all is well.
Born Again

John 14:27; Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world
giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The peace that Christ offers is not like that of the world. The best we can expect from
the natural world is unfairness and death. Even attempts to be moral, without God,
lead only to frustration. Christ's "peace" here refers to a hope and reassurance that
goes beyond what a fallen world can offer. It is permanent, guaranteed, and eternal.
Here, again, Christ encourages His followers to keep their "hearts" from fear and
trouble.
