Hi, I’m Sarrah Zayane, an aspiring Interior Designer
from Tunis, Tunisia. I freshly graduated in the field of
Interior Architecture and Design from the University
Ibn Khaldoun Tunis.
Finding creativity as my strong domain, I discovered
the world of design where I learned to truly flourish
and push my limits. I believe that my sensitivity towards
space and environment has always been present.
Learning several tools and methods at college helped
give this sensitivity structure and form.
As a curious person with a scientific mind, I find
problem solving in the field of Design and Architecture
very stimulating, making me eager to learn the practical
and technical aspects of this industry.

Target customer profile:

Young married couple expecting a
child

Building area:
75 sqm, one floor

In this apartment, composed of a

living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a
master bedroom as well as a nursery.
The design will prioritise spatial
organization, simplify the shape of
furniture and rooms, presented in a
minimalist and modern style.

low budget, minimalistic, modern

Green is the dominant color of the space.
The tones and shades of green chosen
range from pale green to olive green,
accompanied and complimented by shades
of gray and warmed by wood. This creates
a balance between warm and cool tones
in the space to make it appear larger.
Living Room Rendering Since the budget is limited, we thought
of creating painted geometric frescoes
on the walls as well as painted panels.

Target customer profile:

Plant-based food, ecology and
agriculture lovers.

Building area:
250 sqm, one floor

Gardenium is a multifunctional commecial

space based on ecology and sustainable
agriculture. This space offers an innovative
concept, which advocates the use of
eco-responsible products and materials.
It is also a space for experience and
sharing, through the various sub-spaces
that offer activities related to the theme
ofecology, such as a small vegetable
garden (annex to an ecological farm)
where the customer can share the
“plant your lunch” exprience, or the
workshop space where different events
Exterior Rendering take place each week. There is also a
salad bar, where the ingredients come
exclusively from the vegetable garden or
the ecological farm, as well as a concept
store displaying the work and works of
different Tunisian artisans and artists.

sustainable, refined, artisanal

The use of sustainable and durable materials is
the main goals of the space layout. The materials
used are left in a raw state, and come to merge
with the natural framework which surrounds the
space and which also comes to settle inside. This
Salad Bar Rendering brings an overall refined atmosphere to the space.

Gardenium is a complex that highlights the work

of local artisans and artists. We used their craft-
manship to build the furniture, but you can also find
their work and products exposed all over the space.

Two Bedroom Bungalow - Kitchen Rendering

The design of these bungalows is inspired
by the bohemian style. The use of rattan,
bamboo, wood, ambiant light and colorful elements
of decoration come bring a relaxed feel to
the space. The overall layout of the space was
made to optimize the limited space of each
bungalow, by using a minimalistically shaped
furniture.

Target customer profile:

Music lovers and professionals in the field

Building area:
960 sqm, one floor
(second floor not mentioned)

The realized project is a cultural

space based on the experience of sound
in all its natures; namely noises, words
and music. This space is totally interactive
and innovative. It is presented through three
main sub-spaces.

The first sub-space is an immersive

and interactive route made up of five
rooms treating sound from its most
complex and charged form to its purest form.

The second subspace is a large sound libra-

ry. It is made available to professionals
and amateurs of composition.

Finally, the last sub-main space is an

ephemeral exhibition hall, which will deal with
Reception Rendering a specific musical era for a specific period.

This space is designed around sound propagation.
The multiple giant screens and 4D sound systems
bring a futuristic feel to the space, and make
the whole experience totally immersive.
The use of raw acoustic material like concrete
and wood accentuates the purity of sound.
Sound Forest Rendering The entire space has been designed with optimal
acoustic insulation in polyurethane foam.

Exhibit Room noise rendering

The message of the NOISE exhibition is

to draw attention to the problem of noise
nuisance and pollution, not only with sound, but also
by stimulating various senses. The room is
divided into different walls. It is an immersive
space surrounded by giant LED screens with 4D
audio system as well as optimal sound
insulation. Interactive stations surround
the space offering visitors the possibility
of choosing the sound they will listen to as well as
their sound intensity and other programs.

Exhibit Room plantasia rendering

It has recently been discovered that plants emit subtle

electric currents. Thanks to the new technologies
available to us today, and in particular thanks to sensors
and synthesizers, it is possible to translate each
wave into a musical note.

The path carried out proposes to discover the melodies

that different plants could emit, distributed
according to the family of those. It is an immersive
space surrounded by giant LED screens as well as
interactive PLANTASIA stations in each room.

This space is a new way to communicate

with and discover a sound bank. Through the
displays linked to tablets made up of artificial
intelligence, the screens integrated into the space
as well as the interactive installations, the user is
immersed in one of the largest sound databases.

Each sound is linked to its own QR code allowing it to

be transferred to the sound laboratory. The interactive
installation is made up of luminous cylinders on the
ground that change color and emit sounds when
