Present Simple and Continuous
-when talking about repeated action, what we do/don't do every day, month, year
-something that is true or untrue in general (ex. The earth isn't flat. The earth is in space.)
-talking about feelings, thoughts (ex. I don't believe that! She isn't very happy right now. --> talking
about feelings, we DON'T use present continuous even if there is RIGHT NOW.
POSITIVE SENTENCES:
Example: I play tennis every day. --> EVERY DAY She always plays tennis. --> ALWAYS
NEGATIVE SENTENCES:
I don't play tennis very often. She usually doesn't play tennis on Monday.
She usually doesn't plays tennis. --> She usually doesn't play tennis.
QUESTIONS:
Present Continuous
-when talking about things that are happening right now
-talking about temporary situations (ex. Currently, I'm not working, I'm ill.)
-talking about changes (ex. The earth is changing, because of global warming.)
POSITIVE SENTENCES:
Example: I am playing tennis right now. --> RIGHT NOW
