The Most Precious Treasure

School holidays have arrived, about 7 years ago my family and I went on vacation to
Mentari Compound Beach. In the morning, before leaving we prepared all the equipment we
needed such as a change of clothes, food, drinks and medicines and after everything was
ready we immediately left.
During the trip I was amazed to see the natural beauty of the city of Balikpapan because
along the way many green trees grow and the environment is also clean so the weather is very
cool, beautiful and maintained. Several hours later, we finally arrived at our destination and
we immediately got out of the car to find a place to rest because the weather was very hot.
Mentari Compound Beach is one of the beach attractions located in Balikpapan City,
East Kalimantan. This beach offers beautiful scenery and is very beautiful, white sand and
clear water are visible as far as the eye can see. The sound of the waves that come and go
makes the eyes satisfied to see, the ears are satisfied to hear and the heart feels calm as if I am
comfortable and at home to linger there.
The view of Mentari Compound Beach is vast and enchanting, bordered by a wooden
fence along the shore without any trees growing on the edge or rocks blocking my eyes from
continuing to look at it. Its beauty is still imprinted on my eyes, the air is very cool and the
environment is very clean, making many people happy to take pictures and live there.
I felt the cold water soaking my feet as I walked along the beach as the waves came
towards me. On weekends, there are a lot of visitors who come to spend vacation time with
their families. I saw many children playing, taking pictures and swimming. There is also a
place to relax to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the beach and the rushing sound of the
waves that wet the land while lying down and eating food or drinks, although looking at it
from a distance because it is limited by a fence but very clearly visible to the eye.
Not only that, this beach also provides complete facilities for lodging visitors such as
villas equipped with air-conditioned rooms, namely the living room and bedroom, and
kitchen. There is also a swimming pool that has green water, an open hall whose building is
made of ironwood, a basketball court, a parking lot, WiFi and others. Around the villa there
are also many green trees that make the air cooler and more beautiful and the environment is
maintained and clean.
When it was late afternoon, I saw the sun starting to set like a truly amazing natural
painting because the golden red color in the sky merged with the sparkling beach water so
that it became a very mesmerizing sight to see and capture. That is why, the beach is often
used as the main reason and destination because of its atmosphere that can calm the heart and
mind, also because the sunset is the most awaited thing for everyone when going on a
vacation to the beach.
