Unit 8 summary essay

Change is an act of an instance of making or becoming different. According to

the book "Change is a means, a process, or an end." It can be an ideology, or a
doctrine, adoption of new objects to attain goals. Everything changes the
place, time, people, the rules, regulations, perspective and a lot more. There
were a lot of type and causes of changes. Cultural Diffusion, Acculturation and
assimilation and the main reason why ‘things’ changes is because of social
problems.

On earth there is no such thing as permanent hence things eventually diffuse

and eventually change. There were a lot of reason why does a ‘thing’ change it
may be by force or by on own will. We cannot relay on anything to be
constant as nothing stays forever. Change can be good and bad. ‘Things’
change to adopt. When ‘things’ turn into worse people tend to find a new
environment to lived in. That thing is what we called migration. And when
people migrate they have to learn the culture and customs of whatever the
place they migrated on, and that is what we call acculturation. Assimilation is
the blending of cultures. And most of all culture problems are the reason why
‘things’ should and would change. They have to change to solve those
problems, but the problem is people kept on repeating those problems.

Therefore change is not such a bad and sad thing as it is a natural thing to
happen and it might not yet happen today or tomorrow but someday it will.
It’s a great thing that ‘things’ can change for the better even though changes is
not always for the greater good. Change is normal in nature.
 Unit 9 summary Essay

One of the effects of changes are global warming because of the world is
modernizing and building a lot of factories and have a lot of wastes, the planet
earth changes and global warming is raising. One of the most frightening of
changes are the climate change. Climate change are the shifting of
temperatures and weather pattern. Filipinos are forced to work abroad due to
poverty. Filipino who work abroad adopts on the new environment they are on.

When something is changing we human have to adopt and adopting is not very
easy to do. To adopt new environment we face countless of challenges. After
migration or migrating the next step we do is to adopt. Filipinos who work
abroad or what we call overseas Filipino workers helps to develop one’s
country. OFW work under contract so they cannot quit whenever they pleases.
Climate changes are also one of the challenges we face in changes. Climate
change are mainly caused by humans activities and wastes. Climate change can
affects everything and everyone anytime. It is a major damage to our earth
planet. Good thing we can still do something to change this as there were a
solution to a climate change, to mitigate and adopt.

Changes can be a challenge for human and for other creatures, but we do not
have a choice but to face it either solve it or adopt it.

A social movement is a concerted effort by several groups to either support or

oppose social change, Meaning its a group of people who campaign of social
goal. While Inclusive citizenship and participatory governance are a duty or
responsibility of citizen. One thing that change the world is media. Media lay in
many forms.

Here’s how people responds to those changes. Humans depends to much on

media these days, here is where they read news, study, and finish their work.
Humans use media to entertain, educate, and work. They find news there can
created groups and build unity or to cancel people they don’t like. As days goes
by the world are changing and so are the people and how they think. Women can
vote, herd, and lead. Today when you are a citizen in one’s country you have to
do something to aid your country whether you are a girl or boy there is no
exception. As media is very easy to use youngsters are now more aware of their
surroundings so social movements are now also change
That being the case people responds rather harshly and aggressively to these
changes. The overwhelming raise of media are so loud. Even the babies young
as 12 months old are using medias. Parents letting them watch YouTube for a
long scratch of time a day. People becoming more aware of their rights and
most people ignoring their responsibility as a citizen in a country and ashamed
of where they come from is not really helping. People seeing what they only
want to see and ignoring what really matters.
