ABSTRACT

WATER RESOURCES DEPARTMENT – Sanction of one Time Gratuitous relief

under Rehabilitation & Resettlement package for an amount of
Rs.146.295 Crores along with permission to utilize the balance amount of
Rs.52.68 Crores available from the sanctioned amount under
G.O.Rt.No.4, Water Resources (R&R-A2) Department, dated:04-01-2017 to the
Project Affected Families/ Project Displaced Families of Kondapuram Village,
Kondapuram Mandal, YSR Kadapa District under Gandikota Reservoir Project
keeping in view of impounding of 12 TMC of water in Gandikota Reservoir
Project – Orders – Issued.

O R D E R:

In the reference 3rd read above, Commissioner, R&R, Water Resources

Department, Vijayawada has reported that District Collector, Kadapa has
submitted proposals for sanction of One Time Gratuitous relief under R&R
Package for an amount of Rs.198.975 Crores for payment to 3066 PDFs @
Rs.6.75 Lakhs for One Time Sanction opted PDFs and Rs.3.75 Lakhs for R&R
opted PDFs of R.S.Kondapuram Village, Kondapuram (M) of YSR Kadapa
Distirct under Gandikota Reservoir Project for their evacuation and to impound
12 TMC of water in Gandikota Reservoir.

2. The Commissioner, R&R has reported that a balance amount of

Rs.52.68 Crores is available out of the amount of Rs.479.35 Crores sanctioned
under G.O.Rt.No.04, Water Resources (R&R-A2) Department,
dated:04.01.2017.

3. Further, the Commissioner, R&R has reported that a balance amount of

Rs.52.68 Crores (including interest) is available out of the amount sanctioned
under G.O.Rt.No.4, Water Resources (R&R-A2) Department, dated:04-01-2017
and sought for permission to utilize the balance amount.

4. Government, after careful examination of the matter hereby accord

sanction for an amount of Rs.146.295 Crores along with permission to utilize
the balance amount of Rs.52.68 Crores (including interest) available out of the
amount sanctioned under G.O.Rt.No.04, Water Resources (R&R-A2)
Department, dated:04-01-2017 (total 198.975 Crores)

5. The District Collector, Kadapa shall ensure that the disbursement of the
above said amount is done at the time of actual relocation of the above said
PDFs duly making sure that the PDFs getting compensation now under this
package should vacate the village and do not settle down in any of the villages
notified as submergence villages under Gandikota Reservoir Project.
6. The District Collector, Kadapa is also accorded permission for making
payment of the amount to the PDFs by means of cheques.
7. The expenditure sanctioned above shall be debitable to the following
Head of Account:
4700 – Capital outlay on Major Irrigation - 01 – Major Irrigation –
Commercial – MH 133 – SKDGNSS – GH 11 – Normal State Plan - SH
(49) – Resettlement & Rehabilitation - 500 - Others Charges – 501 -
Compensation.
8. The Commissioner, R&R and the District Collector, Kadapa shall take
necessary further action in the matter accordingly.

9. This order issued with the concurrence of Finance Department vide

their U.O.No.48022/501/FMU.WR.II/2016 Dt.26-08-2018.
