PRONOUNS

TYPES:
 PERSONAL
 INTERROGATIVE – (Which?, What, Who?)
 DEMONSTRATIVE – (this, these, those, that)
 RELATIVE – (used to introduce a subordinating clause; who, which that)
 POSSESSIVE – (used to show ownership or possession)

PRONOUN
REFLEXIVE – Refers to the subject, sometimes after a verb or far from the verb
INTENSIVE – Identifies the noun before the intensive pronoun, the sentence
would still have the sentence even when the intensive pronoun is removed

WORD FORMATION

- BORROWING – (foreign words/terms borrowed by the English language)


- COMPOUNDING – (two different words combined to form a different
meaning, compound words may have spaces between them)
- SHORTENING:
- ACRONYMY – some may not be capitalized
- BLENDING – refers to the sound made by combining similar words
forming a similar meaning
- CLIPPING – shortens words to usual words used in everyday
conversations
- COINAGE – brand name instead of product
