U12 Boys’ IAPS National Competition

Thursday 23 March 2023

Welcome to King’s
King’s College is a co-educational day and boarding school with
around 490 pupils. We provide quality education for 13- to 18-year-
olds, along with our prep school, King’s Hall, who care and educate
children aged two to 11.

Sport is pivotal to the all-round development of pupils at King’s.

It is built on the ideals of a healthy and balanced lifestyle, respect,
discipline and a sense of sporting integrity. Throughout, it is
firmly believed that everyone has something valuable to offer,
and the systems in place aim to encourage general participation
in an inclusive programme covering a wide number of sporting
opportunities

We’re delighted to be hosting this event and hope you enjoy your
day with us.

IAPS
First and foremost, sport is about participation and enjoyment.
Sport is an incredibly important part of the personal development
of children.

Thanks to our eager and enthusiastic membership, over 22,000

children take part in the IAPS Sport programme every year. With
23 sports to choose from and over 170 events organised annually,
there are plenty of opportunities for our member schools to get
involved in. The 2019-2020 programme was hit by the coronavirus
pandemic however now that we are back, the 2021-2022
programme will be bigger and better than ever before.

To start with we have a brand-new website and sports app, both

feature events, results, guidance and much more. You can visit
our website at iaps.uk/sport and download the app on Apple and
Android phones.

Whether this is your first time at an IAPS event, or you have been
entering them for many years, we hope you enjoy the competition
and good luck!
