What is meant by the term demographic?

The term demographic means/refers to a group of people/individuals that have been characterized on
age, race, sex etc. These results appear on graph.

The most popular Social Media platform between people aged 16-64 is Whatsapp. I have decided
against using Whatsapp as it focusses on smaller groups of audiences. Instead I will be using Facebook
and Instagram. I will be doing this because these platforms have a larger target audience. Doing this
should help advance the activity centre. I wouldn’t choose anything else as Facebook and Instagram are
100% supportive of the video.

What does the equality act say about adverts?

The equality act says: ‘’If the advert is discriminatory, the employer will be legally responsible.’’ This
basically says that any advert that contains or promotes any form of discrimination, the employer is
responsible for releasing it.
