I. Call to Order:
The 1st Quarter Meeting of Provincial Youth Development Council,
May 6, 2021 started at 1:00PM in the afternoon led by the President, Hon.
Brylle Deeiah D. Tumarong who preside the meeting with the Recording
Secretary, Angelica D. Lovitos, PYDO, taking down the minutes.

II. INVOCATION/PAMBANSANG AWIT:

Invocation was led by Hon. Nikko Sayre, Youth for Peace Vice
President followed by Philippine National Anthem and Imno sa Siquijor by
Mr. Vincent Mamhot of Parish Youth Council of Larena.

III. ROLL CALL:

The presiding officer greeted the members of the Provincial Youth

Development Council. Majority of the officers/members attended the meeting
based from the attendance read by the Recording Secretary. Thereafter, the
presence of quorum was declared.

IV. APPROVAL OF THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA:

 Youth Programs/Projects/Activities in Siquijor Province

- the August body agreed and approved to have a series of activities
per youth organizations such as Feeding Program, Coastal Clean Up,
Outreach Program through giving of school supplies, HEART TO HEART
TALK, Mental Health Awareness Campaign, Community Pantry per
organization to be station at Siquijor and Larena Port.
 Other activities were as follows: For Health & School based
Organizations, to conduct Reproductive Health Youth Training,
HIV/AIDS Peer Educators Training, Provincial LAGSIQ Youth Camp and
the signing MOA for the Provincial Teen Center. For the Fraternities
(Alpha Sigma Omega, AKRHO, TAU GAMMA PHI), Community Pantry,
Giving of school supplies, and posting of emergency hotline tarpaulins.

Through the motion of Mr. Dex Magtahas, unanimously seconded

by the members of the PYDC, all the PPA’s are approved and carried.

 Proposed Programs/Projects/Activities per Organization

- The presiding officer raised a motion to suspend the rules. No

objection from the body. Motion to suspend the rules was approved.
- The August body discussed about different projects and programs
that will be implemented by different organizations depending on their
advocacies. The PYDO also agreed to this idea and assured the
members that she will do her best together with the Presiding Officer to
financially support the PPA’s per youth organization.

 Finalize the Provincial Youth Development Council Logo

 Mr. Kyle Samson of Parish Youth Council of Larena together with
PYDO presented the proposed logo of the PYDC.

The President of TAU GAMMA raised up to put the year of

establishment of PYDC. Thereafter, Ms. Ocao move to approved the
PYDC Logo duly seconded by the President PYC Siquijor.

 Regional Accomplishment Reports

-Hon. Brylle Tumarong, Presiding Officer discussed about the
Regional Quarterly reports about the conduct of all YLS related activities
in the respective areas. Secretariat will create one template for the
whole Visayas which will be submitted through google drive link (c/o
secretariat). Everyone agreed about the reports.

 Community Pantry per Organization

- Hon. Brylle Tumarong, Presiding Officer assigned the said pantry to
the fraternities but assigned to different ports of Siquijor. The said
community pantry was designed to help the Provincial IATF against COVID-
19 as well as the returning residents and OFW’s. The august body decided
to conduct it for one week and we will gather donations from different
private sectors/individuals.
There being no other matters discussed. Meeting Adjourned at 3:48PM.
